Getting married in Queensland.

We have recently returned from a trip in tropical North Queensland - what a worthwhile exercise.

We arrived in Airlie Beach mid afternoon so waited till the following day to visit the islands. First off we went to Hamilton Island where there was a wedding taking place on the beach at Beach Club. What a lovely setting, casual and relaxed and a photographers dream!

Hamilton Island may not be everyones choice for a honeymoon but there are so many resorts that one has great choices.

Ferry trips and visits to the other Whitsunday Islands are easily accessed and the azure waters and abundant fish life make this an experience not to be missed.

I photographed a wedding on Brampton Island this year and it reminded me why I loved North Queensland when I lived up there. That blue, blue water! I'll visit my best friend in Airlie Beach next time I get a destination wedding in the Whitsundays on Hamilton or one of the other WHitsunday Island wedding locations.
